ACL, WCO, and ESPN

Have you been keeping up with the American Cornhole League, the World Cornhole Organization, and ESPN lately?

The American Cornhole League, also known as the ACL has been making a name for itself over the last several years, as has the World Cornhole Organization (WCO).

Both the ACL and WCO have been working alongside each other to spread the love of cornhole and ensure it develops as a professional sport worldwide. Just last year in May of 2019, the ACL sent over two American ambassadors to play in a friendship tournament against German players.

Now with championships and tournaments being broadcast on ESPN and ESPN2, more and more professional cornhole athletes are coming out of the woodwork, and even some non-professional cornhole players … or should we say professional football players? For example, late January and early February 2020 will go down in cornhole history, as football superstars Daniel Jones (New York Giants) and Sam Darnold (New York Jets) will be facing off alongside other ACL professionals in a special cornhole tournament.

This event will be aired in a one-hour special on ESPN2. When you started playing cornhole, did you ever think you’d see it being played on national television with NFL quarterbacks? We aren’t sure, but we’re definitely excited.
